COAXIS
Responsible investment

The long term rewards good behaviour.

Over a decade-long horizon, how a business treats its people, its governance, and its surroundings is not separate from its value — it is part of it. Responsibility is how we protect the compounding.

Our stance

We are not a passive shareholder waiting for a quarter to end. We are a long-term owner — and ownership carries a duty of care.

Responsibility, for us, is not a separate report bolted onto the accounts. It is underwriting discipline: the businesses that endure for a decade are, almost without exception, the ones run with integrity, governed well, and mindful of the people and places they depend on. We look for that, and we help strengthen it.

What it means to us

Four commitments

Sound governance

We back businesses with clear ownership, honest reporting, and accountable leadership — and where we hold a seat, we help raise that standard rather than lower it.

Long-term alignment

Our incentives reward durable value created over years, not activity or short-term gains. That alignment keeps decisions honest when the easy move and the right move diverge.

Environmental & social care

Across sectors like energy, water, and agriculture, resource and community impact is a real part of long-term risk. We weigh it in underwriting and favour businesses building for durability, not just this cycle.

Integrity & compliance

Clean capital and clean conduct are non-negotiable. Our AML and KYC framework, and our governance controls, are the floor on which everything else is built.

How it shows up

In practice, not in press releases

01

Built into underwriting

Governance, conduct, and resource risk are assessed before we commit — not reviewed after the fact.

02

Active stewardship

Where we hold a board seat, we use it to support good governance and responsible growth over the life of the holding.

03

Lines we won't cross

We decline opportunities that rely on opacity, poor conduct, or harm — regardless of the return on offer. Some things are not worth owning.

A note

This page describes principles and intentions, not a certification or a guarantee of any outcome. As a young company at the start of a long mandate, we are building our stewardship practice deliberately, and will let our conduct — not our copy — be the measure of it.
